Revisando el Changelog de Slackware encontré la noticia que Slackware 12.1 RC1 ya esta disponible, en el cual Patrick Volkerding invita a que lo que lo ayuden testeando esta versión de Slackware para terminar de cazar los últimos bugs, así que ya saben Slackeros es hora de contribuir con el desarrollo de esta excelente distribución de GNU/Linux, les dejo el Changelog en el que se publicó la noticia:

suspected that might be needed, given the version number and development
status of the newer driver we tried, but gave it a try anyway. Probably
there will be no more driver updates at this point unless bugs are reported
that newer drivers fix.
